Grok AI vs. ChatGPT – Who wins the AI arms race?

If you’ve been reading our site, you’ll know we’re team Elon. But putting biases aside, let’s do a deep dive on Grok AI vs. ChatGPT.

Grok AI vs. ChatGPT

OpenAI’s ChatGPT has skyrocketed to popularity.

It’s becoming a mainstream use as students, business professionals and content creators all use the service.

There’s no denying with the more refreshed GPT-4, the service is useful than it’s predecessor GPT-3.5.

And yes, OpenAI will likely keep rolling out upgrades, similar to what Apple does with yearly installments for the iPhone (12, 13, 14, etc.)

OpenAI’s code is more nuanced now and can craft up just about anything you ask of it.

However, online critics have noted it does have a political bias.

Yes, you read that right. A computer (code) has built in political preferences.

Can ChatGPT vote? No.

But, it can sway the US population into making a decision.

Because of that, it’s been dubbed as ‘woke GPT’.

Whichever side of the political aisle you lean on, AI should not be biased.

Here lies the main concern with GPT-4 and future renditions of the AI super code.

Enter Grok.

Grok AI overview

After Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter, now X, the Devs cleaned up code that hid or suppressed conservative voices.

Musk made the code open source, so we mere plebs could know there was no funny business going on.

This was a monumental step in Elon’s journey to revive free speech in a nation that once prided itself on such.

Grok has the real-time ability to derive information from X. And unlike ChatGPT, which has a more monotone style, Grok is programmed to be ‘witty’ and ‘rebellious’.

Grok is still in beta — so access is limited to verified X accounts that have been on the platform for some time.

However, some users have access and asked Grok’s crypto advice. Hilarity ensued.

In our opinion, wittiness aside, Grok’s access to real-time X data gives it a large leg up on ChatGPT.

Think of ChatGPT as a traditional news outlet — slow to inform the public, biased and left leaning.

This is not a knock on left-wing politics — this is advocating for AI to be accurate and helpful above anything else.

Can you invest in Grok?

Great question, anon.

Musk himself has declared that you can invest in Grok.

However, with one condition.

Anyone hoping to invest in Grok, will have to invest in X corp., which is privately held as of Nov. 2023.

Musk could elect to take X Corp. public again (remember $TWTR?).

But for now the only access we can gain to investing in Grok, is through Tesla.

It’d be a good time to dive into our Tesla stock prediction for 2025 to gauge whether we see potential there too or not.

Conclusion: Grok wins

If we had to decide today, we’d declare Grok (even in beta) the winner.

Who wouldn’t want free speech, accurate information and some puns in their AI universe?
