Apple’s Showing Their True Colors
The truth always comes out. Apple is showing their true colors by their latest rhetoric, threatening to remove Twitter from the app store.
This is just too easy. Tim Cook has totally lost control of the wheel and he’s fighting a battle he will not win.
Apple’s Latest Drama
Yes, Apple did reduce their ad spend on Twitter, which will negatively impact Elon Musk in the short term.
But, if we’ve learned anything over the past five-10 years, it’s that Elon Musk will not go down without a fight. And, chances are, he will prevail.
If Apple’s threat to remove Twitter from the app store comes to fruition, it will be weeks, if not days, before Musk releases plans for a smartphone.
Look, the iPhone is incredible technology. It has changed the way we consume media, read and write. It’s been a life-altering design of the 2010’s.
I still remember getting the original iPhone and how exciting it was to show others. Now? It’s the same rendition each year with an upgraded camera and faster loading speeds.
I’m not knocking the technology, but it’s gotten stale. The consumers’ attention span is at an all time low now and we’re ready for a new product. Sure, Android has good technology, but it doesn’t have the cultural adaptation like Apple products.
That could all change soon with Apple’s wild threats to interfere with users’ ability to download Twitter.
We are primed and eager for new technology. Tesla is in its infancy. SpaceX is in its infancy. Just imagine what each of their development teams could whip up in terms of smartphone design.
And with a fire lit under him, how long do you really think it would take for Musk to execute this idea?
What Happens Next?
The two tech super giants beefing isn’t good for anyone. Someone is going to have to cave soon.
And I bet it’s Tim Cook that caves first. Elon is going to win this war.
