Zyn Coin ($ZYN)
If you haven’t read our full breakdown of Zyn Coin yet — do so before it’s too late. Hint, we were extremely early and proceeded to purchase a Tesla with the ‘winnings.’
First things first, what is Zyn coin? Well, there’s not elaborate white paper — it’s just a digital token for those that love that sweet, sweet nicotine.
As you can see from the top choice on our list — sometimes Altcoins don’t have much intrinsic value. But on the other hand, they are a prime way to be involved in an online community.
Zyn Coin’s X account, is chalk full of nicotine memes. They gained roughly 1,000 followers from Jan. ’24 to Feb. ’24 as the token has soared over 2,600% in the span.
The altcoin slowly ticked up and then got serious volume, which explains the recent pop.
How high can $Zyn go?
The sky’s the limit here. It’s gone from 750,000 market cap to over 30M and it’s not egregious to suggest it could go to 100M MC.
All it would take for $Zyn to fully breakout would be another Tucker Carlson nicotine mention.
Thank you Base God ($TYBG)
Are you familiar with the chain Base?
If not, a quick summary is that it’s a low-cost builder friendly L2 chain.
Now that’s out of the way, let’s get to another top altcoin ready to spread its wings and soar.
Thank you base god. No, not Lil B.
But if you’re a sucker for nostalgia like we are, Lil B is a perfect cult hero figure similar to the $TYBG community.
The token has a cult-like following on X, where there default is a spin on Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong.
We prefer to view the token as a cross between Armstrong and Lil B the rapper.
As you can probably tell by now, this list isn’t full of projects that can fundamentally change DeFi — but they could change how fat your digital wallet is.
One crypto analyst (see X post above) mentioned $TYBG as 100-1000x potential. Now this seems too good to be true. So DYOR and sprinkle little sums here and there to avoid a rug pull.
To us, $TYBG is one of the top 10 altcoins based on MC potential, cult-like community following, and a great social presence.
How to buy $TYBG
You’ll need to bridge ETH to Base — and then from there you can swap your BaseETH to $TYBG – it’s as easy as that!
Dogwifhat ($WIF)
How can you not chuckle just by reading our next altcoin pick, Dogwifhat ($WIF).
One quick glance at their X account, and this thing is primed to ripped.
All sarcasm aside, this is our pick to be the $DOGE, $SHIB, etc. of the crypto bull run of 2024.
WIF is the perfect blend of meme — and dog token that has DOGE-like potential.
If we take a quick glance at WIF’s chart — we’ll see high spikes in volume. This one has serious upside if enough buyers come in. But we’ve tracked WIF for several weeks and notice that people often take profits on this one.
Where as $TYBG and $ZYN seem more like buy and hold plays — WIF looks more like a trading play.
Still, there’s enough Crypto degens (like us) to know that these Dog-themed tokens can run – Usain Bolt speed.
Would our top 10 altcoin list really be complete without a Dog-themed coin? No.
Donald Tremp ($TREMP)
Similar to our rationale on Dog-like coins, who doesn’t love some political themed tokens in a US election year.
Of course the big players here are $Trump and $PEPE, but what if we told you there was a blend between the two? Enter $TREMP.
The play on this one is short and sweet – it’s a gamble tied to Trump’s success in the Presidential election.
Currently, he’s up ‘bigly’ on Sleepy Joe in the polls — and if that stays — look for all Trump/Tremp related coins to surge this year.
Regardless of whether you love or loathe Orange man, don’t miss out on the political volatility that Americans secretly love.
Harambe ($HARAMBE)
If you’ve made it this far into the list, congrats. But by now, you’ll realize nostalgia is a partial theme.
And what better nostalgia than the Harambe tragedy from 2016. One quick comment on that — who the f–k loses their kid at the zoo?!
But back to our best altcoin list.
Harambe, the crypto, is exactly what it sounds like. An altcoin to memorialize the fallen Gorilla.
The memes write themselves with this one — need to ‘APE’ into something – why not Harambe?
This is another altcoin that could be a big runner – but similar to WIF – watch out for huge volume spikes, followed by quick profit taking.
However, over the past three months, Harambe has largely withstood the profit taking, and has attracted large volume in Feb. and March of 2024.
PEPE ($PEPE)
Sometimes when it comes to altcoins, the tried and true is already right in front of you.
PEPE is a meme-themed altcoin that packs a big punch — and potentially massive gains.
What do we mean by tried and true? Well in $PEPE’s case — they have already amassed a huge social following with close to 600,000 followers on X.
If you need an altcoin that’s been around longer than some of the others, PEPE is a decent choice.
Though, we’d wait for some pull back before loading up on it.
$PEPE’s MC is 3.1B as of writing this — approaching DOGE (24.25B) and SHIB (16.31B) territory. While this isn’t a bad thing — it could have lower upside than some of the more unknown altcoins.
Still, it would be foolish not to include it on this list. And our viewing/conviction on PEPE is that it could be the DOGE of 2024.
BONK ($BONK)
This one is simple. BONK was the DOGE of 2023 — with a massive boom (or bonk) onto the altcoin scene.
BONK’s chart looks absolutely BONKERS. Seasoned traders will appreciate the general volatility of BONK, making for excellent profit taking on the way up.
Though, seasoned crypto investors have all learned the hard way — that altcoin’s don’t run forever. That’s why BONK falls lower on our list.
We’d have to wait for considerable pullback before taking a large position (aka gambling) on BONK. Though, it’s still worth a look as we forecast the crypto bull run to last until roughly September 2025.
MAGA ($TRUMP)
Our top 10 altcoin list is starting to conclude — that’s why we cannot emphasize the US election year enough.
In comes $TRUMP coin with it’s super powers and considerable gains. Not to be confused with TREMP, this is the more established altcoin in the political space.
If you want to bet on the US election — look no further than $TRUMP. Now, this is the same situation as PEPE and BONK where the price may be too rich to see significant gains. But, the good news here is that any pro-Trump election news — and this coin is sure to fly.
The recent growth of TRUMP coin is impressive. It tore through Feb. with a staggering 748% gain and continues to climb in early March.
Now, it must be said that these altcoins are due for a pullback. So be patient and wait for a dip before piling into one of the more established alts like $TRUMP.

Memecoin ($MEME)
If you want to own an actual memecoin, why not go directly for $MEME?
Memecoin is exactly what it’s name states: a memecoin. There’s nothing exotic about it.
Perhaps it was even made to attract the general crypto audience who thinks ‘memecoins’ actually refers to this token itself.
Regardless, it’s had modest gains into early March of 2024 — and looks primed for slow and steady growth throughout this crypto bull run.
Mog Coin ($MOG)
Ever wondered why it’s only dog-themed altcoins that seem to blow up? Us too. Well hey, here’s a cat-themed altcoin to ‘diversify’ your portfolio.
Mog Coin has amassed 12,000 followers on X at the time of writing this. Their community is full of die-hard altcoin enthusiasts, who are taking X memes to another level.
As for the coin itself, $MOG has gained 1,130% over the past month — showing just how high this thing can run.
Now, the same caveat applies to MOG as it does BONK, PEPE and TRUMP: the price may be too rich to load bags at this moment.
Though MOG is certainly one to add to your watchlist and track religiously to time your entry. Could 2024 be the year of the cat in crypto?
