When Will the Bear Market End? Expert Stock Market Predictions
Many people, including myself have been trying to predict when will the bear market end? It’s impossible to say for sure, but I’ll share some expert traders’ opinions.
When Will the Bear Market End?
There’s rumors circling that with inflation cooling, the Fed may pivot and decide to cut rates in December.
While this is far from a certainty, it begs the question of if that will stop the brutal bear market we’ve been in.
Historically, when FED “pivots” ( cuts rates ) it’s not the end of the bear market, usually the beginning of another leg lower.
Also, earnings & margins still need to adjust lower which will drag assest with them. pic.twitter.com/frNfDHSAHp

This isn’t encouraging news. I get a little sick to my stomach reading “another leg lower.”
There’s been so many sectors, especially high-growth tech, that have been crushed this past year.
The markets need some positive news, or the retail investor will think about other investments to make.

This poll seems like an accurate representation of people’s thoughts on the matter.
In my personal prediction I would select 4Q of 2023.
I just don’t see any positive catalysts to happen until then.
However, the energy is shifting.
Especially after Elon Musk’s recent Twitter acquisition.
How does this affect markets?
Twitter is going to the be No. 1 online destination for all things stocks, crypto and news in general.
We’ll be able to access the best and latest information as soon as it breaks.
This could have a positive correlation to markets, in way of Russia’s war with Ukraine coming to an end.
Or a peace resolution between China and Taiwain.
Although they are each unlikely scenarios, there is a bull case somewhere in there.
πΊπΈ Fed pauses on rate hikes lead to stock rallies. But I expect these future short term bear market rallies on rumors of a pause or even an actual pause.
History shows bottoms of markets occur when the Fed cuts rates.
